Wells County Republican Chairman Preston T. Wright Issues Statement on the Passing of Charlie Kirk

Bluffton, IN – Wells County Republican Party Chairman Preston T. Wright issued the following statement today regarding the tragic passing of Charlie Kirk:

“I am heartbroken and devastated by the news of Charlie Kirk’s passing. As a young conservative, I looked up to Charlie. His courage, passion, and willingness to boldly speak the truth inspired me and countless others to get involved, stand firm, and lead.

“The fact that Charlie’s life was taken by an act of violence is beyond tragic. Political violence has no place in our country. We can disagree on ideas, but we must never allow hatred to lead to such senseless loss.

“My deepest prayers are with Charlie’s wife, his two children, his family, and the entire Turning Point USA community during this unimaginable time. His impact on my life and on the conservative movement will never be forgotten.”
