Republican Caucus Selects David Teeple to Fill Bluffton City Council District 4 Vacancy
Bluffton, IN – In a caucus held Saturday morning, precinct committeemen of the Wells County Republican Party selected David Teeple to fill the Bluffton City Council District 4 seat.
Teeple brings valuable experience from both the private and public sectors and is a small business owner. His entrepreneurial spirit, community involvement, and understanding of local needs made him a standout choice among the candidates.
“I want to congratulate David Teeple on his selection to serve as the next Bluffton City Councilman for District 4,” said Wells County Republican Party Chairman Preston T. Wright. “David’s experience as a small business owner and his dedication to our community will make him a strong advocate for the residents of his district and the future of Bluffton.”
The vacancy was created by the resignation of Councilman Scott Mentzer, who was selected in an earlier caucus to serve the remainder of Bluffton’s mayoral term. Teeple’s term on the council will begin on August 1, 2025, and run through December 31, 2027.
