In addition to the Central Committee, we have a few committees within the party that serve different purposes. The committees and their chairperson are listed below.

Preston T. Wright
Communications & Digital Media Director

Preston is the Central Committee member responsible for managing the Wells County Republicans’ website, managing social media accounts, creating press releases, creating mass emails, and creating graphic designs for digital/print media for the party.

Laura Sawyer
Protocol Chair

Laura is responsible for sending notes of sympathy, congratulations, and other circumstances to members of the community on behalf of the party.

Carolyn Bertsch
Building Chair

Carolyn is responsible for keeping headquarters at its best. She coordinates renovation projects and maintenance of headquarters.

Yvette Huggins & Laura Roberts
Special Events Co-Chairs

Yvette & Laura are responsible for planning and managing all of the Wells County Republicans’ special events throughout the year. They are always looking for more volunteers to assist them with their efforts.

Sandy Garcia
Lincoln Day Chair

Sandy is the Central Committee member responsible for planning and promoting the party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner that takes place each Spring. The Abe Legacy Award is presented to an individual or couple each year at this event. For more details on this award, click here.

Reagan Rally Chair

Zach is the Central Committee member responsible for planning and promoting the party’s annual fall fundraising event, the Reagan Rally. The Reagan Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to an individual or couple each year at this event. For more details on this award, click here.

Rina Stuck
Community Outreach “Tusk Force” Chair

Dayle Mentzer
Parades Coordinator
